Our Leadership

The Office of Elder

Titus 1:7-9 - “For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.”

Shane Walker,

Preaching Pastor

  • Shane came to know Jesus Christ in a small rural church in central Iowa at the age of 5. He meet his wife Kimberly attending the University of Iowa at a Bible Church near the campus. They have four children--Hannah, Malee, James, and John Calvin.

After six years in Louisville, First Baptist Church called Titus to serve as an elder in the spring of 2025.
